Yoga
The structure of Hatha and the flow of Vinyasa, breathwork in cold air, and moments of complete silence. You leave worked and calm, like after a day in the mountains.
Human Performance Lab
We start with the body. Then we clear what stands in the way, one centre at a time, until life moves freely again.
The model
Old traditions mapped seven centres along the spine. Maslow mapped human needs from survival to self-transcendence. Both describe the same climb. Everyone needs all seven, and the work is to clear the way through each one.
Safety and ground
What blocks it Fear, survival stress, a body that never rests.
What opens it Sleep, cold water, strength, bare feet on the earth.
Maslow: physical needs
Creativity and pleasure
What blocks it Shame, numbness, all work and no play.
What opens it Movement, dance, the ocean, making things with your hands.
Maslow: safety
Will and power
What blocks it Doubt, powerlessness, decisions left to others.
What opens it Real challenge, breathwork, decisions under pressure.
Maslow: esteem
Love and connection
What blocks it Grief that was never felt, a heart kept closed to stay safe.
What opens it Community, long dinners, honest relationships.
Maslow: love and belonging
Voice and truth
What blocks it Silence, pleasing others, truth padded until it means nothing.
What opens it Sound, singing, saying the true thing out loud.
Maslow: respect and recognition
Insight and clarity
What blocks it Noise, overload, a mind that never goes quiet.
What opens it Meditation, focus, silence, real research.
Maslow: self-actualisation
Connection to something larger
What blocks it Isolation, meaninglessness, a life that is only about itself.
What opens it Contemplation, silence, nature, service to others.
Maslow: self-transcendence

A weekend in Ericeira
For people who carry a lot
For founders, leaders, scientists and operators who carry responsibility, fear, power or grief. The work trains the capacity to stay present, truthful and effective when the load rises, so the people around you steady too.
One to one intensives · Small closed cohorts · Decision rooms · Silent sessions
Expeditions
Physically demanding journeys in wild nature, in small groups. The mountain does most of the teaching.
ildfjell.comFor couples
A guided practice for two people, working with what moves beneath a relationship. Body first, then words.
Through the year
Trauma education weekends, nervous system regulation, somatic work, breathwork and integration circles, with clinicians, researchers and veterans who know the field.
Steward for human performance and clinical research
A psychotherapist, bringing clinical rigour to the work.
Longevity
Longevity here is not a supplement stack. It is sleep, cold water, a strong body, close people, meaningful work and a fire to sit by. Then technology that measures and supports it, from heart rate variability to sleep, so the practice holds when life gets heavy.
How we build longevity technology
Everything on this page is a way back to it. Start with one evening, one weekend, or one honest conversation.
